OUR EXPERIENCE AT ZOSTEL MUMBAI
VIBE & FEEL
So here is our very first experience to a backpacker hostel.
Our welcome was very friendly as the receptionists or should I say the care takers of the place were too helpful. They are young boys who turn this place full of life.
Check-in process was very quick which was good. And we were shown our dorm.
We were really very happy and surprised to look at the place at first as it was kind of a cool place to be around, beautiful wall arts everywhere. Each dorm was given a name after localities of Mumbai with railway sign boards which made the place look very different and innovative. The graffiti on every wall made the place look really amazing and too lively.
From the various options available we chose the 8 bed female dorm room. As soon as we entered our dorm, the first thing we had in our head was to check hygiene of-course and a sigh of relief as it was kind of exceeding our expectation.
There was plenty of space to keep our luggage in the shelf under the bunk and not to mention there were separate shelves for both the upper and the lower bunk beds also with a lock and a key. The washroom was clean and tidy and the little things in the room beside the bed were really helpful. There was a reading light which helped in enormous ways…and small pouch hung to the wall to keep the necessary belongings handy and a charging point of-course.
The beds were comfortable…things were just perfect.
The common area was again another beautiful room to come sit and relax…or read…or simply get your laptop and do your work…
There were a few books on the shelf in case you wish to read, also a guitar was placed if you knew how to play…and not to forget the artistic work on the wall….
A room where you share the friendly chit chats with people around and chill.
The rooftop area is another fun place to mention. This area had all the games and stuff…there was table tennis, jenga, card games, monopoly, etc etc. Most of the indoor games we knew were available to play.
Also another cool aspect was it had a projector, so in case if there is a movie night plan..this place is all lit and fun with people around.
